So... I was doing OK, but then it all came back. Today I weigh in at 228 lbs and this needs to change. I need to get below that 200 and some how stay there. I am not sure how yet, but today it begins.
About 6 months ago, I had my blood work done and it wasn't too good. It's my cholesterol, it's not high. It's just really really low. See cholesterol has a bad type and a good type. My bad on last check was only 66 (which is not a concern until it's over 99). However, the good is supposed to be at a minimum 40 (preferred closer to 60), mine ... 24. Not good. How do you fix this?
That's the hard part, there are great drugs to take the bad down, and almost nothing to get the good up. What do I need to do then?
Exercise and Lose Weight
I did great on the weight thing at the begin, but it did nothing. Three months later I was still at 24. Now I have gained the weight back and don't exercise. But not any more.
I started up Diet Power today (the software I use to help with dieting - link on the side).
and I am going to start biking everyday. For Christmas my wife got me all 8 seasons of The Cosby Show. (Thank you Lisa, I love you!) So the goal is to bike upstairs for at least one episode a day. I will try to walk at lunch when I can as well.
